I was hesitant to write this post, and I am not afraid to say I pushed it back until the very last minute.

Today is the 11th of September 2021. I do understand life might have caught you in its relentless whirlwind and you might not have realised the significance of this date.

Nearing the end of my geriatric rotation now, the very last block of the hospital stage of my third year in medical school. I only have a handful of placements left and seeing patient after patient the days become a blur, a conglomerate of faces and common disorders.

If you are reading this, there is a very high chance you are looking into applying to medical school. It is also very hard to keep on top of everything that goes on during the last few years of high school.

So I thought I would make things easy for you condensing what I believe are the top 5 qualities a medical applicant should have to walk out of a medical interview triumphantly.
